All About Me
I began my career as a qualified Nursery Nurse, working on the Children’s Ward at West Suffolk Hospital. I went on to complete my paediatric nursing training at City University/Barts and the Royal London, qualifying as a Paediatric Nurse in 1999.

For over a decade, I worked in Children’s A&E at King’s College Hospital in South London, caring for children from birth to 16 years old. My personal experience with feeding challenges came after the birth of my first child in 2010—giving me first-hand insight into how tough feeding can be, and how transformative the right support can feel.

In 2014, I completed my Specialist Community Public Health Nursing (SCPHN) qualification. During this time, I regularly attended breastfeeding support groups and, once qualified, helped establish and run Merton’s infant feeding service. This included home visits, video and telephone support, and a busy breastfeeding drop-in group for local families.

Before sitting my IBCLC exam, I completed over 90 hours of breastfeeding-specific education and provided more than 1,000 hours of direct lactation support to families.

More recently, I’ve trained with The Tongue Tie Centre—first as an assessor and then as a practitioner. This training deepened my understanding of tongue dysfunction and reinforced the importance of a holistic approach, including skilled support both before and after division when needed.
