FAQs
How can I start working with you?
Complete the form on my contact page. I'll send you a form to complete asking for more information about you and your baby. Dependent on the type of appointment/urgency, I will either call or email you back to arrange an appointment time.
Do you offer remote consultations?
Yes - especially at the moment, I am using virtual consultation prior to meeting in person for all clients - it may even be that we can resolve/make plans to help without needing to meet.
How should I prepare for my initial consultation?
Have your red book handy and have a list of the questions you want to ask. It's ideal if baby is due a feed, but I know often babies don't know the plan so don't worry if this isn't possible. We'll have spoken before we meet so can confirm any finer details then.
How can I check your credentials?
I am on the Nursing and Midwifery Council register (search here: www.nmc.org), and once I have my IBCLC qualification I will be on the Lactation Consultants of Great Britian database.
Are there other options to see you?
Yes - I also run an Infant Feeding Drop in fortnightly at the William Loveless Hall in Wivenhoe (see my social media for more information). Also, it might be that I can help answer your query with a brief phonecall/message. If this is the case, you're welcome to "Buy Me a Coffee" https://www.buymeacoffee.com/JenTheLC
